How to Build a Regular EFT Habit
A realistic approach to practising EFT consistently without relying on motivation or creating a demanding routine.
A useful EFT habit is usually small enough to continue on ordinary days. Consistency matters more than completing a long routine.
Attach tapping to an existing moment
Choose a reliable cue: after making morning tea, before opening your laptop or when you finish work. Tap for three to five minutes on whatever feels most present.
Keep a short list of possible prompts, such as “what am I carrying today?” or “what am I anticipating?” This removes the need to invent a topic each time.
Count showing up as success
Some sessions will feel meaningful and others uneventful. The habit is the act of pausing and listening, not achieving a particular emotional result.
Review the routine after two weeks. Adjust the time, cue or frequency until it supports you rather than becoming another obligation.
