EFT for Change and Uncertainty
A grounding tapping practice for times when plans are changing and clear answers are unavailable.
Uncertainty asks the mind to live without a complete plan. It may respond by searching repeatedly for certainty that is not yet available.
Identify what is known now
Tap while acknowledging both sides: “I do not know what will happen, and I know what I can do today.” This avoids pretending that uncertainty is comfortable while reconnecting you with the present.
Focus on the part that feels hardest: waiting, loss of control, possible disappointment or having to adapt. Work with one aspect at a time.
Return to the next step
When the intensity reduces, identify one small action within your control. That might be gathering information, resting, speaking to someone or postponing a decision until more is known.
EFT cannot create certainty, but it may make uncertainty easier to carry.
