How to Start EFT When You Feel Stuck
A gentle way to begin tapping when you cannot find the right words or do not know exactly what you are feeling.
Sometimes the hardest part of EFT is deciding where to begin. You may feel upset, tense or unsettled without being able to explain why. That does not prevent you from tapping.
Begin with what you know
Start with a simple, honest phrase such as “something feels stuck,” “I do not know where to begin,” or “there is a lot going on inside.” You do not need to identify the perfect issue before you start.
Tap slowly through the points while repeating the phrase. Notice whether a thought, memory, body sensation or emotion becomes clearer. Treat whatever appears as useful information rather than a problem to solve immediately.
Keep the first round small
Aim for one or two rounds rather than a long session. Afterwards, pause and rate the intensity from zero to ten. A small change is still a change.
EFT should feel manageable. Stop if you become overwhelmed and seek appropriate professional support when an issue feels too difficult to approach alone.
