Small Feelings Are Worth Tapping On

Why everyday irritation, disappointment and tension can be useful EFT practice rather than issues to dismiss.

You do not need a major crisis to use EFT. Small emotional reactions are often the safest place to learn how your mind and body respond.

Start with ordinary moments

Try tapping on frustration in a queue, disappointment about a cancelled plan or tension before sending an email. These experiences are specific, current and usually manageable.

Working with smaller feelings helps you recognise changes in intensity and become familiar with the tapping sequence. It also prevents emotional strain from accumulating unnoticed.

Respect what the feeling represents

A small reaction may connect to a larger theme, but you do not have to pursue it. Stay with the present issue unless you feel safe and supported enough to explore more deeply.

Regular, low-pressure practice can make EFT easier to use when a more demanding moment arises.
